I grew up in the Town of Tonawanda and have lived in the City of Buffalo for the last 26 years. My father was a construction worker and my mother, a hairdresser. I was the first in my family to go to college, graduating from the University of Buffalo, where I played football and captained the 1987 team. I worked my way through school on construction sites as a Local 210 Laborer, where I learned the value of hard work.

After graduating from UB, I earned a Masters in Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois. Inspired to help families like my own, I traveled the country and helped organize low-wage workers. As a union organizer for the Laborers’ Union, I successfully ran organizing campaigns for: poultry workers in Mississippi and North Carolina, nurses in Northern California, and immigrant demolition workers in New York City. The experience of empowering working people and fighting corporate power that I learned as a union organizer- I now use as a trial lawyer.

For the past 20 years I have dedicated my life to raising three daughters and fighting insurance companies and dangerous construction contractors on behalf of injured workers. Insurance companies and construction contractors treat workers like they are disposable, when you get hurt they want to kick you to the curb. My job is to fight the insurance company for you. I have personally represented over 600 union and non-union construction workers over my career. No trial lawyer in New York State has litigated or tried more construction cases than me over the last 15 years. I specialize in construction litigation because I am a third generation construction worker who has seen first hand how insurance companies and contractors take advantage of injured workers. Both my father and uncle suffered career-ending injuries on construction sites. In addition to construction litigation, our firm represents all workers compensation claims, motor vehicle injuries, defective products, nursing home abuse, and injuries on property. Let us help you.
