Growing up in a family of five children, I learned the value of hard work at a young age. My father, a Marine Corps Captain and former Erie County Executive, and mother, a devoted homemaker, instilled within me, through their words and actions, an exceptional sense of discipline and accountability. In my youth, I carried those values with me from the baseball field to the school classroom. Today, I carry those values with me into the courtroom.

By way of background, I am a St. Francis High School graduate, having obtained my High School Regents diploma in 2007. After graduating from St. Francis, I attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After my undergraduate studies, I worked in the construction field. This experience provided me with an appreciation for blue collar labor and, more critically, taught me the importance of job site safety.

After working in the construction field, I moved to Columbus, Ohio and attended Capital University Law School. At Capital, I was selected to participate in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. Additionally, I was a two-time recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award for Academic Achievement.

While in law school, I held a number of legal jobs, including as a law clerk with a civil litigation firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation, as a certified legal intern with the Franklin County Public Defenders’ Office, and as a law clerk with Dolce Panepinto. In 2016, I graduated from Capital University Law School.

Before joining Dolce Panepinto, I served as an Erie County Assistant District Attorney where I successfully prosecuted hundreds of criminal matters, ranging from domestic violence cases to individuals charged with driving while intoxicated. In addition, I was selected by District Attorney John Flynn to prosecute cases on behalf of the Neighborhood Engagement Team (“N.E.T.”) task force in Buffalo City Court. In 2019, I was selected by Business First to be featured as one of Buffalo’s Emerging Attorneys.
